No, nothing marked on the metal box.

Will this be a H P generic? Would I need to get a replacement from them? it looks like it needs to be the same shape to get it back in.

Sorry, I didn't see that PS. Now this is where you either think, "I'm dealing with a right eejit here", or you just plain give up on me. Do I need to take the PSU box out of the 'puter to make this comparrison, is that connector inside the box?

OK, I worked it out I think. As near as I can tell it's the PS-230SFR.
