There's a number of ways to combine the two images. Try this-
fotofects.com/articles/142/1/Combining-Multiple-Exposures

Explains it better than I could...
Never tried it on an astro pic though.

you can download it from adobe for a 30 day trial. Mind you that doesnt work on my laptop, as CS2 freezes instantly...

I downloaded the demo and tried it out. However, when I did have a sequence of images I wanted to combine, after ten minutes processing them, it told me it couldn't!
