Where are you getting the wx and time to do all this imagaing!!! Great images both here and for recent mars shots. I havent been able to get saturn that good yet. Any way, the reason that Regi treats Mrs diffrently is probably due to the amount of fine detail present on the MArtain disc compared to saturn. I tend to use Gaussian settings for Mars and normal for Saturn as it can take harder processing.

As for all the time, since the observatory is not almost finished and housing the scope, imaging has become very much simpler.
I had a look again at Mars last night, this time gettting a good look at Syrtis Major, a very nice and distinctive formation.

Beautiful shot Dave. I'm looking forward to my first "live" viewing of Saturn this winter - just waiting for it to rise a bit higher/earlier. Very interesting that you found it during daylight.
