so its still abit fuzzy.

Lovely pic regardless. You got the division nicely even though it's a little fuzzy. What did you use to capture it?

I used the toucam webcam at the prime focus of the 12" lx200.
I was looking over the city at the time of the image, the seeing is always terrible in that direction, which happens to be east from my location.

Lovely detail in that Dave, it would be nice to see it larger on the screen!

Rodney?? you got me there Dave?
As a side note, I was at home this morning and was looking at the setting moon at around 11.30 through the 12", it then occured to me that Saturn would be just to the left of the moon so I did a goto and there it was
You could just make out the disk and rings against the blue sky, albeit very faintly.
It was easy to loose and you had to look directly at it to see it.

I was feeling lucky and tried this on Jupiter, but I was unable to see it, that section of the sky seemed to be whiter as it was nearer the Sun, maybe in a few weeks time when its abit further away from the Sun??

Nice shot Dave, I will have to give planetery imaging a go some time.

Assuming I get any more good nights after last night that is ;)

Later,

Jed.
