I hate being the bearer of bad news but with a six-inch aperture, there is no way this is an APO but simply an achromat. I have a 6.3" APO from Astro-Physics (AP160) and it cost me five-figures.

The Borg one is excellent but is only 1.25". It is simply superb for use when imaging with a webcam or high magnification viewing of the planets. This WO 2 speed SCT one however would make it much easier for focusing the 300d.

Thanks guys for all your help, I suspected as such
I already have the 4 inch celestron acromat refractor, but have'nt used it in ages, it's just on an eq mount, but no motor. Maybe i'll try to upgradethis?
Those 80mm's look nice, plenty of quality there!
