Pearls of wisdom... was created by dmcdona
Folks - after taking Keith G's challenge, I had a prowl around Orion and came across this lovely compact cluster. Whilst I didn't have the energy to process out the gradient (I packed in at 3am after the dog woke me up....), it still makes a nice image.
Enjoy
Cheers

Nice one Dave. Its refreshing to see images of objects that are not the 'usual suspects'!

Thanks Martin - I've never seen, let alone imaged this cluster before. Its very compact and pretty much all of it fits into the field of view of the DSI/C8/F6.3 reducer combo. So it must be quite small. Not sure what detail, if any, you could get visually...
Cheers
