I was surprised Keith - its probably no more than 10 or 15 arcmins square. But full of stars. I think this would make a nice colour image and certainly deserves anothr shot (pardon the pun).

Give it a whirl and perhaps your DSLR can put it into context for us. That'd be nice - a widefield shot.

I'm planning to do that area soon with the 300D, maybe as soon as this weekend The closest/sharpest lens I have is the 85mm, so at x1.6 makes 135mm for the dslr. I'll center these clusters, and hopefully they'll show up!!
