Great shot, waiting for clear sky's here to give Saturn first light in my new telescope, a Sky Watcher 200. Santa was real good to me. Thanks Santa.

Thanks all, It was worth the effort!
I just used two wires Dave to make a simple cross, but Saturn being so bright just gave a great 8 spike look

Keith, did you use 4 wires on the aperture of the camera?, see 8 spikes on Saturn a very nice effect

On the 4th of February, saturns going to pass right across the southern end of the cluster, now that will be nice!

Paul - simple. I just got two small bits of electrical wiring, about 10cm each long, and stuck them over the lens using sticky tape! Anything will do really, even 2 pieces of string!
The effect on the brighter stars/planets is like above, a lovely cross!
