Hi All,
Rather then start a new thread, I'll just continue here.
I took another pic of Venus last week (28th April 2004),
I was only able to stack 3 images here, the wind was severe and there was distortion in many of the images.
I used the toucam pro and registax and the 12"SCT.
Incase that doesnt come out for you, you can find it at
homepage.eircom.net/%7Esac/graphics/inner/venus_2x_1.jpg
The phase is changing relatively quickly now, I hope to get as thin a phase as possible, (weather permitting) in the next few shots.
Dont let the apparent size of venus here fool you, its actually much bigger then the shot of the 2/3 full image above.
Apparently, the moon occults venus at midday on the 21st of May, I might give it a go, anyone else going to try ???
