M42 and beehive+saturn, skylux70, anyone want a challange?

I think M42 is impressive, nice FOV :D

The FOV arond saturn is good also..

One easy way to remove light pollution......I only learned this last night :D

1. Load image in ps
2. Go to Image - Adjustments - Curves
3. Select the 'set black point' eyedropper
4. Click on a heavily lp area, this will immediately get rid of the lp,
5. You can adust afterwards to your liking
6. RESULT!!! No more crappy orange glow!!!!! Victory at last!!!! :P :P
Try it with any of you lp photos!!!

Nice images Dave.

I'd be fairly certain that the 'blueness' of the stars is down to chromatic abberation:( You will see the same in all achromats, vbut hey, for a scope of that price you cant argue can you. Those are fine images. Really shows that the skylux is a capable scope. As for value for money, well the debate is over!

Had another go, this time using Keith's methode, and then tried removing the cromatics around the stars using neat image
