Amazing eclipse photo on SpaceWeather was created by TrevorDurity
Had to post a link to this shot from Turkey. Corona is beautiful. It's a lovely shot and you can actually see the detail of the Moons surface from the Earthshine.

Hmmm...nice image, but does not reflect what was readily visible. I would be extremely surprised if that image is not a composite. I saw absolutely no hint of earthshine nor heard of anyone who did. The corona around the poles is reasonably accurate but the region around the sun's equator doesn't seem very real in comparison to what I saw. It seemed much smoother in reality.

I'd say it's a very long exposure shot, hence seeing more of the corona and the details on the moon than the human eye could ..... or you could be right and it could be a composite.
