From seeing the images that the other lads here got, anything over a fraction of a second would have over-exposed the corona completely. unfortunately.

Mike's right, while it an awesome shot, as it pushes the limits of photoshopping an image to extract the most detail, it still leaves out what was actually seen during the event.
Still makes a great poster on the observatory wall though!

A great image, even if its visually unrealistic.
I didnt think the earthshine could be capturable during the eclipse.
The moons disk was the only part of the sky that was black.
I have over 40 totality images so I,ll give it a go in photoshop and see if it can be derived, but I seriously doubt it.
