Fantastic image Michael. Just got out of hospital this afternoon after 5 days so rushed out with my PST to have a look as soon as I read your post. Beautiful! Best view of prominences I've seen to date. Wonder if the large piece will break away.

Thanks Seanie! Maybe it will come our way. Looks like another large hedgerow prominence is just coming around into view as well. This H-alpha observing is compulsive!

Bit frustrated with imaging through the PST. I'm going to try my son's Dimage E50 next sunny day as I just can't get proper focus with my Olympus C765.
