The complete transit lasted a "whopping" 0.85 seconds and in spite of the fact that it bisected the lunar disk in half. Now add the reduced field of view so that I can get reasonable definition and image scale and you can extrapolate that the transit across my field of view was around 1/3rd of a second. Way too fast for comfort .... however, I was relieved I did not have any motion in the individual frames thanks to my selection for 1/500" exposures.
