In all fairness Dave, you're probably right. I get a definte glow to the East (Dublin) and rarely image over that direction anyhow. I'd more often be imaging South or West. But I can't imagine what it must be light to be imaging in the middle of a city....
That said, being in the middle of an estate surrounded by sodium street lamps doesn't help - at least visually.
I guess an interesting data set would be two images taken with the same setup - one in Limerick and one at a dark site.

Dave G - is it proprietary image capture software or do you get Maxim/CCDSoft? Just curious...
