Looks much better. You might even get a little more detail out of the darker area if you use the adjust the curves a little...

Like this is it??

Your second 'shot' does appear more smoother and realistic to me Mike.

Yea, I kinda think the same to be honest. The other two look a little unnatural and slightly overprocessed.

Michael,
I was comparing the phase differance between ypur image and my image from a few days ago, this might sound obvious but it is interesting to see how crater/mare detail differs when the phase changes, if you flick back and forth quickly the change is dramatic, especially as some crater just seem to disappear as the phase gets bigger :o Get up images using 2 tabs in firefox and flick back and forth, I think you can see some liberation effects on the top limb between the 2 images :P

wow, love the relief in this shot Dave.
Michael/Seanie- tend to agree. Although I do like to see the moon looking a little brighter. Think the impact is more representitive of what you see through the scope- a blinding light! :D

The second moon image looks more natural to me, in the 3rd the seas look a little strange somehow, I cant put my finger on it.
There's no pleasing them all.
