Night time Images from Lanzarote was created by Keith g
Hi all, I'm back from holidays from beautiful Lanzarote, I got some tripod night time shots I'd like to share with you from a beach that I went down to one night when the moon was a bit bright, but it lit up the lanscape very well. It was really warm, but the night sky was surprisingly transparent.
These are some shots showing stars we never see from home, this first one is the moonlit scene over the beach - absolute serenity, all you could sense was the light sound of the waves hugging the shoreline, I'll never forget it, if only I had my goto !

This one I love: The constellations of Scorpius and Centaurus, I scanned this area with binoculars - what a sight the globular cluster Omega Centurai was, Antares is at top, M6 &M7 clusters are at left, Centaurus centre

Finally, I caught Sagittarius and Scorpius rising much higher than what we are used to, notice the volcanic rock lit up by beach lights, a beautiful sight

Keith - they are all absolutely beautiful shots. I think the first is my favourite, but only just. The lighting is just superb - especially those clouds to the right of the image.
You've outdone yourself yet again and I have to say that they must be the best night lanscape shots I've seen anywhere, ever. They would make a beautiful image to hang on the wall - no doubt whatsoever.
Thank you for sharing them with us.
Dave
