Beautiful pics Keith! Well done.
Any chance you could tell us what lens you used, the exposure time and aperture? I want to give this a go myself :)

Don

I really must think of something interesting to use as a tag line!

Thanks all, i'm glad to share them with you, It was probably one of the best 'sessions' I've ever had with a camera ! Perfect.

I just had My tripod, Canon 300D, 18mm standard lens at f3.5. The moonlit scene was 8 seconds exposure, the other two were 20 seconds.

That's it, short & sweet :P

Keith,

I would also like to extend my congrats on these wonderful photos as well. I am not surprised that the standard kit lens provided such excellent results, for I have experienced precisely the same good quality with this particular lens. It is, in my opinion, quite underrated (at least for astrophotography).

You've outdone yourself again Mr.Geary.

I'd just echo the sentiments of those who posted above. Absolutely first class photos. Definitely ones to frame and hang in the living room.

Congrats Keith!

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.
