Really amazing footage there, I'd just about given up on Jupiter beacuse it was so low, but you've encouraged me to give it another bash. Why the low frame rate? I'd have thought a higher frame rate would have given more chance of beating poor seeing. Does the lower frame rate give better results (longer exposure) when the planet is this low??

Sorry for the confusion John, your absolutely right about high frame rate.
when I say 5 fps, I mean the animation is running at 5 frames per second, it has no reflection on the actual capture frame rate.

I made up the 2fps animation so that detail in the earlier frames is more visible.

The capture frame rate is more like 20fps.

Those are beautiful. :shock: The detail in the cloud belts in the first few frames is excellent!! Nice one.
