Harvest Moon

Hi y'all.
This is my first attempt at a shot of the moon.
Taken last night 7th of Aug.
Any comments, critiques, advice is greatly appreciated!

That's a lovely image Frank. If my first image of the moon had turned out even half as well I'd have been on very happy camper

A good image Frank, brightness and contrast seem good to me.
The detail is a little soft, maybe very slightly out of focus, is this a single image or did you use stacking for this??
Was this with the ETX105?

Sorry, I should have included the details:

ETX-125 PE,
Canon 350D,
Prime Focus,
1/1000 sec,
ISO 200.

2 Shots (top & bottom half) merged in Photoshop.
Levels auto adjusted in Canon image editor.
50% unsharp mask in Photoshop.

After another look it does indeed seem 'soft'.
I'll see can I sharpen it up a bit more
without over-doing it....

That's an absolutely excellent image Frank. To me, the image looks pretty good and sharp. You can't expect to get much detail on the terminator at that phase of the linar cycle.

I noticed Ken's comment under your image re the harvest moon. Can anyone confirm?
