Ok ....
here is the sharpened up version....

Ken is correct.
The full Moon occurring nearest to the Autumnal Equinox is
the 'Harvest Moon'.
But in one out of three years, it comes in October.
2006 is one of those years! Oops.
I tried my hand at some webcam work also,
here is the first try:

I had more time to work on this one but it might be slightly over-prosessed?

Again any comments, constructive criticism welcome...

Frank - super images. Good focus, nice framing, well processed...
The only feedback I'd give is for you to give us larger images!

Frank, the sharpened up version is a great shot there of the full moon, I've seen shots not as good as that with more expensive equipment ! :!:

Well done Frank,
Those are some of the best lunar shots I've seen. Focus looks bang on to me. Exposure looks good too.
Definitely keepers!!

Sharpening definitely helped, its looks alot better now.
You should look into capturing 10 (for example) images of the moon and try stacking them in registax, its really helps get rid of the bad seeing effects and helps sharpens the image even more.
You joined them perfectly, I cant see any line, good one. :!:
You have a much higher res image in flicker, a tiny bit grainy so dont sit too close to the monitor.

There is alot of excellent detail visible there....
Keep up the good work Frank, I look forward to seeing more.
