There is still a small little bit under the star at the bottom....going in a 'South Westerly' direction from it....

Thanks all for the comments.

Jed, its not a mosaic its a composite. Effectively what I did was mask the overexposed moon in the frame showing the stars and then composited that with the shot showing the properly exposed Moon. IP doesnt lend well to that.
