Is that a resized image from Registax?
What size frames are you capturing initally?
I can never seem to get a decent size.


No thats a cropped image from registax. All capture is done at 640x480.
900 frames at 10fps. Only filter is a IR/UV block.

Note the 10fps may help here. I think the SPC compresses anything above 10fps? I could be wrong, but I think you get better moon images at 10fps.
Try it next time, one AVI at 15fps and another at 10fps on the same area. When it comes to the Wavelet processing you'll see less detail and more graininess and less smooth transitions on the 15fps AVI. This applies to moon shots; not necessarily to the planets, where your target is smaller and beating seeing is more important, then 15fps is more appropriate.
