Not bad for a first attempt. Try tapeing the webcam to the eyepiece so that no moisture can get in to fog things up.
If you use it without the eyepiece then you may need to remove the lense on the webcam in order to get a proper focus.
The best webcam to get for this is the phillips spc900nc. You can get it from this site I saw some for sale in dixons in Liffey Valley
