First Light with my new Canon 350D. OK, sorry it's the moon again, but ya gotta start somewhere. Still waiting for for my remote controller, and have yet to get a T adapter, and my mount isn't going to be up to long exposures (hoping my SSIAs will bring me a LX200R 10"). Anyway here goes.
Canon 350D, ISO100, 1/320, C102SLT at prime focus.

John,
Great effort. The moon is a great place to take images, irrespective of whether you're starting with a new camera or not.
Do you have any image processing software. If not, perhaps try Gimp. It's free and lets you play around with the image.

The Canon EOS 400d has 10.1 megapixels.
A 25% advance on the 350d.
Bought mine in Dixons last month for 800 euros.
Stunning camera.
