Thanks Dave. There is nothing more unsettling to have everything working like clockwork and to have a nice routine in progress and then suddenly for all of this "nirvana" to fall apart suddenly and for no apparent reason.Lovely image Anthony - clearly your software re-installation worked
I wanted to ask him what kind of illegal stuff he has been smoking and not to mention that my image is roughly 30 min by 30 min whereas his eyepiece view is a few degrees by a few more degrees!I noted another comment on the AP UG where the poster seems to see more stars visually than you have captured photographically. Any ideas?
I am crossing my fingers you get called very shortly for the AP160 ... this refractor in conjunction with the AP1200GTO is one very SERIOUS combination and literally opens the universe upto you. I sincerely feel like I am in heaven with these two pieces of equipment. That's a heck of a setup there, comandeered by a competent imager and processor. Excellent. Well done!

I have told myself 1000 times to proof-read my messages for typos and omissions ... see what happens? You implicitly state that Seanie is your friend.

I think I went on the list 2001 or 2002. With a predicted 9 year wait, I've only another, err, 4 or 5 years to go :roll:I am crossing my fingers you get called very shortly for the AP160
Mind you, I should have save up enough by then

What can I say? I went on the list in Aug/1999 and thought (back then) that within a year or two at the latest I would be called. Yeah, right!

Well, don't forget the annual increases! For example, the price just went up $1000 for the next/second production run. I experienced the same problem while waiting where the price was $4850 when I signed up in 1999 and it had reached $7950 when I got called in late 2005.Mind you, I should have save up enough by then
