Kieran - that's an excellent shot. You must have pretty good sky conditions.

Yes guys,
I am blessed with fairly dark skies from about 20 to 30 degrees above the horizon. At least I am blessed when I can actually see them. The Met office is forecasting clear skies on Thursday with no wind. I will believe it when I see it.

Nice one Kieran,
I wouldn't worry about the hot pixels, most of them could be removed using photoshop.
Is the image fainter/brighter or as was expected in terms of brightness?

That really is a very nice shot Kieran, well done. The nebulosity is bright, but not overdone, considering how bright the surrounding stars are. You seem to have struck a nice balance between the intended object and the surrounding ones nicely.
Kudos!
