Grand image Michael, although I wouldn't go too much with the sharpening on the outer edge of the galaxies, the inner details looks great.

Sure would. Wallet is a bit bare at the mo for colour filters unfortunately. To be honest though, I'm happy with mono for the mo. Filters will be either at the end of this year or early next year.If you can add colour data to this effort, it would be a killer image!

Michael,
Save up a bit more and go for 2" filters in case you upgrade. You can still get a truetek motorised filter wheel for 2" at the same price as a 1.25". Wish I had done that.

I don't think you'll have to wait too long before you'll be getting far better images than these!Great images Mike, The ST-8 is some piece of kit. The images are top class with such short exposure time. I only hope to be able to get results like that one day.
