Hi all
Michael Murphy and I had a great observing session on Saturday evening on the shores of Lough Ennill. Although a small area is taken up with some light polution from nearby Mullingar the rest of the sky views are quite good.
A nice flat carpark for those folks who like to level their scope before they start Some trees to shelter from the wind! All we needed was that pesky moon to get out of the way. But alas, dewed up corrector plates cut things short in the end. Going back there next opportunity.....
Still trying to get rid of those snowy peeks but couldnt really get any darker
And I think this one is the three craters of Cryllus, Theophilus, Catharina. A while spent in VMA to check
