Thanks everyone for the kind words!

Dave, I agree with you that I am in a somewhat ideal situation with great equipment and great weather. With some patience and attention to detail, everything else follows.

This evening I set my sights on M92 (Lyra) and M29 (Cygnus). The evening started out with incredible seeing (FWHM < 2") and by the time my Lum for M92 completed, everything fell apart with the seeing. I am tempted to process my Lum anyway but I forgot to take my flats (out of shear frustration).

As for the Di Cicco comment, I am truly honored and humbled. It is one thing being mentioned in S&T and something else when someone of the stature of Dennis does it! :oops:
