Jupiter from Murrumbateman, June 22 and 23 was created by bird
Hi, sorry it's been a while since I posted last, but we've been busy moving in to our new house at Murrumbateman and also I've been away on work trips about half the time so it's all up been very hectic!
Thought you might enjoy some images of Jupiter taken a couple of weeks ago, just a few days after we moved in.

Bird,
Those are stunning images - absolutely jaw dropping! As if the detail on Jupiter wasn't enough, you have fine detail on the two moons as well!
It's been so wet and miserable here lately that our atmosphere could be classed as an ocean! Oh for your dry air and steady seeing down under!
I'm off to the south of France for a couple of weeks with a small travel scope - fingers crossed it's a bit drier down there.
Respec!
Phil.

Eh, I think you have won this one hands down Bird
Seeing was very poor for Jupiter last night. This is my first attempt at the planet using my old 8" sct and a neximager. 600 frames in registax

Amazing pictures bird! I didn't check the equipment list but I assume the Hubble Space Telescope was involved
I also liked your picture, John. Very inspiring for a beginner like me

Good candidates for the best ever pics of Jupiter taken from the ground.
I most certainly have never seen better.
Especially the moons.
