If you look at the information with my sketches, I am using a PST 40 with an 8mm Tele Vue Plossl eyepiece. My sketches are large, I observe as carefully as possible, and I sketch what I see.
In these nine sketches, the last two have the least amount detail as the structural detail availabe in the proms was overwhelming.
I try to sketch every 15mins as the changes in the prominences are noticable so it takes a bit of concentration to keep at it to achieve enough images to make an animation.
