A couple from last night was created by paulevans
I had a good session last night - largely just looking through the 'scope but took a few photos too some of which were OK despite the overpowering moonlight casting its glow across everything.
Here's M13
And this image of the Double Cluster was taken with a 135mm lens - camera piggybacked on my 'scope
Clear skies,
Paul.

Thanks Carl,
Camera was my Minolta Dynax 5D - the M13 shot was at the prime focus of my Meade LXD75 6-inch Newtonian and the Double Cluster was with the camera piggy-backed on the 'scope fitted with a 135mm f2.8 lens - both are stacks of several shots of 20-30secs, ISO1600.
Clear skies,
Paul.

Well done Paul.
Jeez, that LDX is turning out to be a fine scope after all.

M13 again? Always nice to see that cluster as no two shots are ever the same. You got a lot of colour in it Paul, but might that have been at the expense of something? There is a lot of shallow noise in it. The Double Cluster is flawless! By the way, did you spot any Perseids while taking that shot?
