Yes Seanie, noise was something of a problem with eveything I shot last night and I reckon it's temperature - my camera was definitely less noisy when I was imaging M42 at ISO 3200 than last night when I kept it down to 1600. I should stack more frames of course! But I get better

A very nice binocular view fo the double double there Paul, M13 has some nice star colours in there also. You can never get enough of M13 either visually or imagewise.
