I am the first to admit that we have a SERIOUS advantage when it comes to the weather. I sincerely believe we can challenge the famous skies in Arizona when it comes to clear weather.
We are also a nation in the dark .... literally and figuratively. I live about 40 km driving distance from the Athens city center and enjoy mag 4.5 skies during the summer and mag 5 during the winter.
Just last night I was marvelling at the Milky Way ... visible without averted vision and certainly much more than a mere trace.

Dave, dear god, I think I'm gonna be sick, Anthony, you just can't imagine the crap weather we have here, if we get a chance to glimpse the sun we consider ourselves lucky.
