Funny you guys are talking about M13 this is the first object I have selected to find in my binoc challenge.
I have to admit I can't seem to find it
I hang my head in shame
Hopefully it will be clear for longer than 10 min tonight to give me a fighting chance.

Nice image Michael, Well done, I cant comment on the lines, as I havent imaged such a bright object to cause blooming with my camera. Anyway great image and keep up the good work

It may be just a software correction issue mate but at 30 second exposure?. I never noticed the north south bleed on the SCT images. I know that when I was getting blooming with an ABG it was because the capicitor installed was under rated. Take it up with SBIG and send them some sample images at different exposures if its not software.
Nice to see your imaging drought has ended.(Too much time with the 16" to look outside  )

I've noticed something in my images for a while now but am unsure what it is. If you look closely at some of the brighter stars, they have a little tail pointing directly up and down. I don't think it is caused by blooming so I'm wondering what is causing it? Any idea anyone? Is it something in the design of the chip mabey, as i've noticed it with each of my scopes.

Could the lines be an internal reflection?
