NGC 6946 - Fireworks Galaxy in Cepheus

Hi John,

I have an ST-2000XM monochrome CCD camera. I am quite eager to get either an ST-10XME or STL-11000XM due to the greater QE. I have gotten a lot of mileage and good results with the ST-2k but I am not hitting my limits due to the low QE of the ST-2k (around 40%) and which is quite low relative to the STL-11k (65%) and the ST-10XME (85%).

I also have and do use my Canon EOS 300d. In fact, I LOVE my EOS 300d. However, for "serious quality work", nothing beats a monochrome, cooled and dedicated CCD camera.
