Summer Milkyway Panorama was created by Keith g
All, here was my first attempt at stitching a few shots together whilst shooting the milkyway back in July. This is what would look like a naked eye view, with the last quarter moon rising at left. It is an assembly of 3 shots taken in the early hours of July 7th 2007 at near 1am local time using Canon Photostitch. Canon 400D, 18mm lens at f3.5, 120 second exposures at ISO800, piggyback C8.
Hope you like it..

Fabulous image Keith.
Only comment I would make is that it would be great if the software seamlessly stitched them together. Did you try Photoshop at all?

Hi guys, the streak is a ship that travelled along the horizon over 2 minutes. I used canon photostitch for this, but I'm gonna have a go at photoshop also as the seams are easily sen, and take a bit away from the shot....I f it's good enough I'll post again..

Kieth.
Thats a wonderfully evocative shot you have there.
How are you with Photoshop?
That image can be stitched and blended so you can't see the joins
in Photoshop.
It deserves at least that.

Great stuff Keith,
Like Franks says, photoshop can merge those images seamlessly.
