The second image is alot sharper, this is why I asked how did you focus the image, Dave beat me to it, I don't like saying that something is wrong with an image these days in case the owner mightn't like it, all the same, I look at constructive criticism the same way you do.

Excellent work. A bit of advice when the luminance overwhelms the RGB layer .... proceed with double luminance layering and this is something which I have used very effectively.
To be more specific, I apply the first luminance layer with an opacity of around 40% (you may need to experiment slightly with this percentage), collapse the layers into one new master layer, boost up the saturation slightly and then reapply the luminance layer once again with opacity ranging from 40% to 100% depending on the image and the current LRGB.

Cheers mate, I've been caught up with colour balance for the last month and doing a lot of reading, plus G2V work. I was running lum at about 80% on the first LRGB layer...your guidance on this is very much appreciated.
