Many thanks for that Tip esp as I always struggle with that white cast on stacked images.
I will have a go at your suggestions later
Gotta love those Messier Twins eh? I have read so much on how these were formed but alas all seem to give a different version mind mine would be a grazing Comet :shock:

Brings out the "splats" around the craters very well.
One mystery I have never heard an explanation for though.
Why are the Rays from Tycho not symmetrical with the centre of the crater ?
Anyone know?

Hi James, a fine image, some good detail visible in there.
I think you could make it a little whiter/brighter, to me it looks a little too dark.
