Hi Dave.
I Imaged the Bubble a few nights ago with the Astronomik Luminence filter for the same amout of time but i did not get the results I wanted. but I did get more detail from the 2"H alpha filter with the same number of exposures. I will post my other Image so you can see the difference for yourself.

Carl - nice image.
Have you taken this in other filters? If so, I'd be curious to know how much longer you need to image through Ha to get the same SNR as with say no filter, LRGB set and any others.

That a great image there Carl. Its amazeing the detail with the H-Alpha filter. The shoe-string adapter is working well for you, your guiding is spot on. Well done mate
