This particular sequence has appeared on SpaceWeather at least three times as well as my aphelion-perihelion photo (of the sun) which has also showed up on more than one occasion.

I suspect you are thinking of SpaceWeather.

Reckon you might be on to somethin' there, Seanie. Most of Anto's pics look like they were robbed straight off Hubble!

Phil,

The greatest secret I can pass on is to spend a few quality minutes with the focusing so as to get it as perfect as possible. It also means that all of the processing that will follow thereafter will be effective and geared at making the initial image all that much better.

Many people make the mistake of compromising their initial image with poor focus and then using software such as Photoshop trying to correct errors and problems instead of enriching their image.
