It certainly looks like that this camera is getting cheaper with time.
You have some fine shots on your site Mark.

Thanks for the compliments Dave.
Certainly the 300D has come down in price in recent months but at thsi stage, with the new models already released, I do not think that the price will vary much as this is probably the end of stock prices...

Yes, those are indeed excellent images Mark. Well done!!
Seanie, if you do plan in getting the camera, make sure to get the lens. I'm not a lens expert but it sure seems plenty good enough for me.
If it's from the UK or any other country in the EU, import duty etc will not be charged. You only pay the delivery charges and that's it. As for prices, just jump in and buy. It's a bit like PCs - you'll spot a good deal and within days see a better one. However I reckon there will be a cutoff point where the prices will not fall below but the technology will improve.

If your going to get it and use it on a telescope, go for the ac/dc converter, it will save you abit of hastle.
As for the lenses, I dont think they are compatibale with other Canon film SLR lenses (not 100% certain).
So if you buy the body and already own a canon film camera, I dont think you can use your existing canon lenses.
