Nice work Carl on two challenging targets! Keep 'em coming.

I will also be getting back into lunar imaging very shortly as I am armed properly thanks to the recent arrival of my DMK firewire camera.

I can almost make out that famous Obelisk on Clavius.

I thnk I asked you this before but I've forgotten the answer...why did you use a red filter if you don't mind me asking?


I was asking Dave Tyler the same thing and he said it helps with the contrast hope this helps


BTW - When are we gonna see some shots of Mars!!!??? :D
