You should have seen the size of the originals.
Knowing how really good photographs don't bode well for dial-up users, that's what scared me!

That is some great work Lads Mars looks great.I still have to get a crack at it . Dave the Scope looks great now that it can track you will be able to do some damage on the night sky.
The thing is I don't expect alot out of it interms of long exposures for deepsky, if I got 1 minute out of it I'd be extremely happy with it, amazed in fact. Its expecting alot to keep a tube nearly 9 feet long and nearly 2 feet wide rock steady for any appreciable time given wind and breezes.
Primarily I'm thinking of planetary and lunar imaging and simple plain old tracking when looking through the eyepiece.

I know what you mean I say the views through the scope are fab.i'm looking forward to getting a look through it some time. beautiful looking Scope.
