The first one it is so

That was taken with the 17-40mm L was it? Colours of stars look better than your previous images - alot less CA.

No Michael, I have the 24-70mm F2.8 L Canon lens, and yes, the colours produced are very good!

BTW, was it naked eye or what Mag would you estimate it to be right now?

Frank, barely naked eye I'd say, even with a good dark sky last night, however, In my 15x70mm binos, I'd say it was magnitude 6, and quite green looking. I hope you get a look tonight, but the weather may not help.....

Now tuttle and M33 together - I'm sure somebody is already planning a close up of these two already :P

Excellent Keith, 2 comets in the same field of view, terrific, was in Tullamore last night at a motorcycle charity event at Rahan (raised 8000 euro) what a difference, amazing skies for viewing compared to near Cork
Seanie, thanks for letting me use your Cosmos B/B list for that event, twas appreciated

Not at all Charles, it was nice to talk to you.

Keith,
I much prefer the first image. It might be noisy in parts, but it is the wealth of stellar objects (and stellar dots) that makes it more appealing for me.

Both are A1 images Keith but I do think the first one is better, more stars basically.
