What a glorious night it was last night. After a dinner party at Gary Clarke's house I didn;t manage to get imaging until after 2am. I got to bed just before 7am!!

Anyway the late hour gave me the opportunity to have another crack at M51.; Here's the result;

webtreatz.com/component/option,com_zoom/...eNo,10/key,86/hit,1/

6th January 2008, Raheny Observatory Dublin. 10" f/4 Netwonian, Baader MPCC ATIK 16HR L(120) HA(R)(40) ATIK16HRC GB (60) Processing Images Plus v2.8, PS CS2

I used the ATIK 16HR camera for luminance and also H-Alpha which was used as the red channel. Green and blue channels were taken with the ATIK16HRC camera in a single shot.

Regards and Clear Skies,

Dave.
