Love the colours Steve, especially the green, the detail is fantastic and it gives the nebula the look of a flower opening.

   You guys!
That is a remarkable improvement Steve. What did you do to enhance it so much? Is that from the same RAW images?

It is indeed Seanie.... What I did over the last few night was to take new Flat and Bias Frames. Also, the first run did not have any darks for the 120 second exposures, so I spent an evening after work taking those.
I then restacked the images using the new darks, flats and bias frames, however, rather than use the "camera" white balance option in DSS I used the "Auto" option, which seemed to compensate for the "green" generated by the CLS filter.
I believe that the extra flats, darks and bias frames then allowed me to push stretch the image a bit more.
For the Trap area, I stacked about 8 x 30 second exposures and masked them in Photoshop.

Great detail but its very green! Probably the closest to the naked eye view I've seen!
btw I downloaded the higher res version and played with the levels. If you set the background to 'black' and the center of the nebula to 'white' I think it looks better.
