I had a few hours of clear weather early last night. Managed to set up the C11 and take this shot of the moon.

Had a go at Mars but it was just a blur visually.
Anyone got one of those new USB2 DMK cameras (me is tempted :twisted:
)

Well done John. Sharpness is your only enemy in that shot. Imagine the depth you will get next time you take the same image with better focus. What camera did you use? The Cescent Moon sure was apretty sight last night.

Good shot John, do you know the name of the main crater in that image?

Thanks Seanie
I used a celestron neximager. Focus and seeing are out alright (forgot to set up the helical focuser and no cool down period).
I feel a DMK camera coming on.......
