Hi all,
Anyone know what is the correct adaptor to buy for the bressier 102mm refractor from lidl to hook up a canon 350d to it? Already have the Canon adaptor piece.
Thanks
Neill

Neill,
The straightforward way is to use a 1.25" to T-thread adaptor - Andy McCrea sorted me out with mine.
Always remember to wrap the camera strap around the scope with this setup as a loose screw could let the camera fall!

That part I would not have thought about, and I have been lucky so far. Hopefully, you're not talking from experience Paul.

Hi all,
Following my initial enquiry, last night I took a closer look at the Bressier 102mm refractor. The pic below shows the piece where the eyepiece / diagonal prism goes in at the back of the scope. From inside edge to edge it is 1.25 inches as expected, however it is quite thick and is 1.75 inches from outer edge to edge. Would a standard adaptor of 1.25 inches actually fit this given the thick edges? Alternatives are that there is a fitting where a 2 inch adaptor fits on, but how do the Canon camera adaptors fit into a 2 inch adaptor?
Thanks
Neill

Hi,
If a 1.25 inch eyepiece fits in there, why wouldn't a 1.25 adapter fit in there?, I have one of the 1.25-thread adapter and it would work on your scope.
